PROPOSAL FOR TEACHERS
GUANAJUATO, DOLORES HIDALGO AND SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE. HIDDEN GEMS OF CENTRAL MEXICO
SUMMER 2008.
7 days in Guanajuato and surroundings.
(could be planned for 14 days or more)
Sunday: Arrival at airport. And meet with host families.
Visit to downtown area.
Monday: Spanish class.
Walking tour around of the city
Welcome Party for the group.
Tuesday: Lecture about Guanajuato and Mexican culture.
Spanish class.
Tour to nearby mines
Wednesday: Trip to San Miguel de Allende with a stop in Dolores Hidalgo and Atotonilco Church.
Tour around San Miguel.
Thursday: Spanish class.
Visit museums in Guanajuato.
Practical cooking Mexican class
Friday: Day trip to Mineral de la Luz and Cristo Rey hill.
Learn of Legends and part of the mystery of Guanajuato.
Visit the mummies Museum
Saturday: Farewell party.
Sunday: Departing.
During the program we will have visits to several schools, private and public and all levels. Also a lecture about “ Mexican school system” held by specialized teachers.

One week program:
+In double accommodation with families 1 000 usd per person
+In single accommodation 1 200 usd per person
Two week program:
1800 usd per person in double accommodation
2000 usd per person in single accommodation
What the program does not include?
+ Air fare
+Any kind of travel insurance
+Any migration arrangement
+Any other expenses such as souvenirs and snacks.
